10-Inch Off-Road Race Navigator

The ultimate purpose-built off-road navigator has arrived with the Garmin TREAD XL – Baja series GPS. A large 10”, ultrabright touchscreen display withstands hot desert temperatures and challenging terrain and has an IP67 water rating resisting dust and water. An included TREAD XL Baja dock gives users a push button control option for when the terrain gets rough and changes need to be made on the fly. A gimbal mounted bracket holds the TREAD XL Race Edition GPS and dock in place in a sturdy mounting situation that sits right on your dash for easy access.

A robust external GPS antenna and external inReach antenna which offer a low-profile build with water resistant housings with multiple mounting options available making installation a breeze and come included with your Baja Series TREAD. inReach technology allows for team tracking allowing drivers to see live positions of your race team, and give you the ability to message each other with global satellite coverage. Downloadable high-resolution provides color vivid aerial views of your surroundings and for an added convenience for drivers, Garmin has preloaded satellite imagery details for the North Baja Peninsula, already in your TREAD XL race edition and ready to hit the trails.

Built into every Baja Series TREAD XL is a Track Recorder and Prerunning Tools feature. The Track Recorder feature allows drivers to record their performances and improve race times by saving laps & splits to review at a later date and see where improvements need to be made along the way. Create custom pace notes, specific to each trail and race to show where sharp turns, danger, or step downs may be ahead. This helps drivers stay ahead of the game and anticipate obstacles to navigate efficiently and safely to the finish line.

Compatible with the Garmin Digital PowerSwitch box (sold separately), your Baja Series GPS can control your vehicles 12-volt electronics such as air pumps, fans, and lights. This allows full control of these important tools right at your fingertips. Maximize visibility around your vehicle when you wirelessly pair your TREAD XL with the Garmin BC wireless camera (sold separately) that offers a 160-degree view with 720p HD resolution. Once your race has come to an end, drivers can easily import GPX files to view when the course starts/ends, racetrack lines, pit locations, virtual checkpoints and more.
