The high-quality design of the fēnix 8 does it all. It is suitable for diving, has waterproof buttons, a metal sensor protection and a bright 1.4-inch AMOLED touch display with scratch-resistant Sapphire Glass and a titanium bezel. The smartwatch has been tested to US military standards for thermal performance, shock resistance and water resistance.

If you are travelling in remote areas, including up to 80 kilometres off the coast, you can send messages and receive position check-ins after a satellite connection has been established thanks to the smartwatch's inReach technology. You don't need a smartphone connection.

Are you going for a run? Or swimming? Just leave your smartphone at home and use your smartwatch's LTE connection to exchange messages and make voice calls. Plus, friends can track your location with LiveTrack™ and location check-ins - all via the Garmin Messenger™ app. Even check weather conditions and forecasts.

Use the LTE connection to make calls directly from your smartwatch without your smartphone. You can also operate watch functions with voice commands even without a smartphone. Or you can use your smartphone's voice assistant to reply to text messages, for example.

View terrain contours on TopoActive maps and access pre-installed maps for golf courses and ski slopes around the world. With dynamic RoundTrip Routing, you enter the desired distance and receive route suggestions from your smartwatch so that you arrive back at the starting point on time.
